OPay Shuts Down Services
Popular ePayment platform, OPay launched by Opera software has announced a shutdown of their services.
Services on OPay such as ORide, its bike hailing service; OMall, its B2C e-commerce app; OTrade, its B2B e-commerce platform; OExpress, its logistics delivery service; and OFood, its food delivery service, are part of the services reported shutting down.
An official statement form the official twitter account of OPay revealed “this is largely due to the harsh business conditions which have affected many Nigerian companies during this COVID-19 pandemic, the lockdown and government ban.”
