Italy has won the European Championship for the second time by beating England 3-2 on penalties last night, July 11, 2021.

The interesting match started on a bright note for both sides – Italy and England as expectations heralded the atmosphere. The English side wish to “bring home the cup” hits rock bottom as the cup made it way to Rome.

The full match finished on 1-1 draw, after extra time at Wembley Stadium, housing mostly the English fans with hope to celebrate the team’s first International trophy since 1966 World Cup against Uruguay.

Recall, four years ago, the Italy experienced the lowest moment of its soccer history by failing to qualify for the World Cup, for the first time in six decades. Now, they top the chart of best team in Europe and recorded 34^th match unbeaten run with Roberto Mancini – coach of the team.
