Cristiano Ronaldo has won the European 2020 Golden Boot as Italy suppressed England to achieve the best team in the Europe.
The Portugal forward scored five goals and one assist in four tournament matches. His one-goal assist accord the advantage of wining the Golden Boot.
Ronaldo tallied five goals in the competition with Czech Republic attacker, Patrik Schick and won on the basis of goal assists.
The Portuguese star scored in every single group stage game for Portugal, even against Hungary and France. However, Portugal failed to get passed round of 16 after losing out to Belgium on a lone goal.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo also became the leading goal-scorer in the history of Euros during the tournament with 14th strike. With his current 109 goals, he is at par with Iranian football legend – Ali Daei as the top scorer in international football.
