Veteran actor Sam Obiago is dead

Nigerian veteran actor, Sam Obiago, popularly called as Daddy Sam, is dead. The news of his death was announced on Thursday by the National President of the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas.

Taking to his Instagram, Rollas wrote, ‘Another sad day. RIP Daddy Sam.” The cause and time of his death was not revealed in the announcement. Following the announcement, other Nollywood stars have taken to their Instagram pages to mourn the veteran actor.

Actress Destiny Etiko wrote with crying emojis, “Noooo. Daddy Sam.”
