Brume and Oborududu after winning medals at the Tokyo Olympics
Things seem to be going well again after several days of high hopes and expectations from Team Nigeria in the ongoing Olympics games as two medals are currently in pocket.
Team Nigeria is now a proud possessor of silver and a gold medal, the later came first and the later came second.

Ese Brume placed third after a count back to Britney Reese of the U.S as both leaped to 6.97m, while Germany’s Malaika Mihambo clinged to gold with her last jump with a leap of 7.00m.

While celebrating her bronze medal, Brume tearing down with joy as she holds high Nigerian flag expresses appreciation; “Thank you Jesus and thank you all for your prayers. Thank you, thank you so much” she said.
Brume made it to the qualification round on Sunday as her leap of 6.76 m automatically qualified her for Tuesday’s final.
As for Oborududu, she botched to overcome Tamyra Mensah-Stock of the U.S, who had beaten her three times earlier, after losing 1-4 in their final match at the Makuhari Mess Hall.
