Ten more abducted Bethel Baptist students regain their freedom

Ten kidnapped students of Bethel Baptist Secondary School in Kaduna have regained their freedom, making it the fourth batch of students released by the abductors.
Although the police are yet to confirm the development, a top official of the school told newsmen that 10 students were released on Sunday afternoon after an unspecified amount of money was paid as ransom to the abductors. He was also positive that the remaining kidnapped eleven students would be released in no time.
A total of 121 students were abducted from Bethel Baptist Secondary School were abducted from their hostels by bandits on July 5, 2021. The students are now being released in batches after their parents reportedly paid a ransom to their abductors.
