Multi-award-winning Nigerian musician Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Face has reacted to the death of his colleague and friend, Sound Sultan, who died after a battle with Angioimmunoblastic t-cell lymphoma in the United State of America.

Reacting to his death, 2Face  posted on his Instagram page promising to keep Sound Sultan’s family safe and good. He wrote “Couldn’t bring myself to do this but what can we do. Rest well. Till we meet again my dear friend and brother.

“Still so unreal. “Will never stop celebrating you. I promise you your fam will be safe and good. #GRATEFUL for u and the blessings that u represented in my life.”

Sound Sultan is survived by his wife, three children, and siblings.
