Governor Charles Soludo has named the road leading to the monumental edifice of the new Anambra State Government House, Emeka Anyaoku Boulevard, in honour of the erstwhile Secretary General of the Commonwealth, Chief Emeka Anyaoku.
The Emeka Anyaoku Boulevard was part of the projects commissioned by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, together with the newly built Government House and Lodge, the building of the Deputy Governor, the Governor’s Office, 24 other structures, a world-class amphitheatre, and an auditorium.
Also commissioned was the ultra-modern Solution Fun City in Awka, designed for the people of Anambra to enjoy and play.
Applauding Governor Soludo’s transformational drive in Anambra, President Tinubu affirmed, “Mr. Solution, Anambra is rising and we are ready to work with you,” underscoring the trust in Soludo’s visionary leadership.
At the commissioning ceremony, Chief Emeka Anyaoku commended Governor Soludo for his infrastructure and regeneration of the state, which is gradually turning into the “African Dubai-Taiwan-Silicon Valley,” in line with Soludo’s vision.
According to the State’s Commissioner for Information, Law Mefor, the landmark projects in Anambra have portrayed Soludo as a catalyst of progress, a man of action, and a doer who translates vision into reality.
Mefor stated that Governor Soludo’s commitment to regional development trumps political rhetoric, a rallying champion who believes in transforming Anambra and a better future for the southeast region.
He said Soludo’s ambitious vision of Anambra becoming a destination is an authentic blueprint being meticulously executed, as demonstrated in his ongoing regeneration and advancement of key sectors of the state’s economy.
