Rite Foods Limited, makers of the Bigi range of drinks recently partnered with Silverbird Cinema Group to increase the excitement of movie lovers and to raise the standard of movie entertainment in a way that has never been seen before in the country.
Mr. Seleem Adegunwa, the Managing Director of the company explained at the Ikeja City Mall on Tuesday, that the partnership is one of the recent successes recorded in the quest to change the narrative in the nation’s fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry, “We intend to utilize this partnership amongst many other marketing activities to reaffirm our brand equity building strategies as long as we exist as a world-class company.”
Adegunwa added that the deal is also meant to be a sampling ground for consumers to taste the quality of Bigi variants while enjoying their desired movies with family and friends.

Adegunwa concluded that the partnership is to consolidate the company’s pursuit for excellence since Rite Foods is proud to identify with worthy initiatives that add value to lives, as demonstrated in the just concluded Bigi Soft Drinks’ headlined sponsored Nigerian Idol music reality show for budding artists.
The Ikeja city mall partnership announcement activation equally ignited great excitement from celebrities and Nollywood stars like Kunle Remi, Eniola Badmus, and Uzor Arukwe, who were present at the occasion, with electrifying words to consumers and shoppers about the deal between Rite Foods and Silverbird.
According to Badmus, “The partnership came at the right time; and with the various Bigi brands, it’s certainly going to create a whole lot of memorable experiences not only with movie lovers but with consumers at large.” Her colleague, Uzor Arukwe also echoed a similar sentiment, adding that the deal remained a new experience that will take the industry to a new level.
It was indeed an exciting time at the Ikeja City Mall, as consumers of Rite Foods’ Bigi brands, Fearless energy drinks, and sausages, all attested to the excellent quality of the products, and also had captivating experiences with encouraging words from the event anchor, Toppy Banks, who gave them tips of what the partnership entails.
He also engaged them with some teasing moments about the Bigi brands with “tongue-twisting” phrases like “Pick a Bigi Bitter Lemon bottle at Silverbird”, “A Bigi bottle makes movies fun at Silverbird”, and “Will you like a Bigi Bitter Lemon bottle at Silverbird,” which fans were called upon to recite for five times to win lots of freebies.
