Pictorial: Catholic Priests, Sisters, Join Protest In Sri Lanka

Some Catholic priests and sisters in Sri Lanka, have joined the ongoing protest against the economic crisis in the country.

The Catholic members, who are observing Lent, held placards as they participated in the protest in Colombo.

A state of emergency has been imposed in the country in the wake of protests and mounting demands for the president’s resignation over a worsening economic crisis.
