Missing man found dead inside a car in Abeokuta

One Isiaka has been found dead inside his SUV around Olomore area of Abeokuta State. The deceased was declared missing by his family three days ago after reporting to the Adigbe divisional police headquarters.
A search party was sent out in search of the deceased but all efforts seemed futile until his lifeless body, which has been evacuated by the police, was found in his car along Olomore area of Ogun State.
The Ogun State Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, confirmed the incident and also added that the family had requested that the body be released for burial according to Islamic rites even as the cause of his death was still being investigated.
“The man was reported missing about three days ago at Adigbe police station, and a case of a missing person was incident, only for us to get information today that the man’s dead body was discovered inside his vehicle. We are investigating the cause of his death.
“The family has demanded the corpse to be released because they want to bury him according to Islamic rites,” the PPRO said.
