Akpabio pays condolence visit to Tinubu over Ikoyi building collapse

The Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godwill Akpabio, has paid a condolence visit to a national leader of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, over the collapse of a 21-storey building in the Ikoyi area of Lagos State.
Akpabio made this known on Friday via his verified Facebook page, where he shared a picture of himself and Tinubu.
He wrote, “I was at the residence of the Leader of our great party, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu, on a condolence visit over the recent building collapse in Lagos, where several Nigerians lost their lives.
“I prayed for the repose of the souls of those who died in the unfortunate incidence. I also used the visit to welcome our leader back from his successful medical trip abroad and prayed to God to grant him good health in abundance.”

The Ikoyi building collapse took place on November 1, 2021, claimed the lives of over 40 persons and left several injured.
