11 state, FCT report 114 new Covid-19 cases, zero death- NCDC

Twelve states including the Federal Capital Territory reported 141 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, according to figures released on Thursday by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.
The NCDC disclosed this on its official website on Thursday. The agency did not report any additional COVID-19 related death.
Lagos recorded the highest number of new infections with 46 cases followed by Benue – 44 cases, FCT – 15 cases, Katsina -12 cases, Bauchi – 9 cases, Kano – 4 cases, Delta – 3 cases, Enugu – 2 cases, Kwara – 2 cases, Rivers – 2 cases, Gombe and Plateau with one case each
The health agency also said the 141 new COVID-19 infections have brought the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country to 213,818.
The NCDC also reported that 207, 016 COVID-19 patients have recovered and have been discharged in the country.
With no additional COVID-19 related death reported, the death toll from the virus remains 2,974, NCDC said.
It added that a multi-sectoral National Emergency Operations Centre, activated at Level 2, had continued to coordinate the national response activities.
