Pictorial: Buhari Arrives In Kaduna On A 2-Day Working Visit

President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in Kaduna to begin a two-day working visit to the State. The President flew into Kaduna from Banjul, The Gambia, where he attended the second term inauguration of President Adama Barrow.

His arrival was made known via the Kaduna State Governor’s Twitter handle on Wednesday evening, January 19, 2022. He was received at the airport by Governor Nasir El-Rufai,  Deputy Governor Hadiza Balarabe, and other officials.

While in Kaduna, Buhari will inaugurate road projects and other facilities executed by the state government, including the Dangote Peugeot Automobile Nigeria Limited. The visit will take the President to Zaria, Kafanchan, and the capital, Kaduna, where projects have been listed for commissioning.

According to Muyiwa Adekeye, special adviser on media to Governor El-Rufai, the key projects include the re-modeled Murtala Muhammed Square, Infectious Disease Hospital all in Kaduna.

The list also included 19 road projects in Kaduna, Zaria, and Kafanchan towns and the Sabon Gari market in Zaria. The most iconic of them is the Kawo flyover, which has three grand rotaries and access roads.
