Nigerian Idol Top 10 Visits Rite Foods, Presents AMVCA Award in Celebration of Creative Excellence and Brand Support

The Top 10 contestants of Nigerian Idol Season 10 paid a courtesy visit to Rite Foods Limited, the headline sponsor of the iconic music reality show, in a moment that celebrated shared success, continuous brand commitment, and the growing synergy between corporate Nigeria and the creative industry.

A key highlight of the visit was the formal presentation of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Award (AMVCA) plaque to Rite Foods Limited by MultiChoice Nigeria. The plaque, awarded to Nigerian Idol as the Best Unscripted M-Net Original Series in recognition of the show’s outstanding cultural and entertainment impact, was presented as a symbol of appreciation for Rite Foods’ instrumental support in driving the growth and continued excellence of the show.

For the past five consecutive years, Rite Foods through its flagship brand, Bigi Carbonated Soft Drink, has played a central role in shaping the Nigerian Idol experience. From energising contestants backstage to connecting with millions of viewers at home, Bigi has become more than a sponsor, but a symbol of originality, freshness, and support for rising talents.

The Top 10 contestants were warmly welcomed at the company’s head office, where they engaged with staff and senior executives, shared stories of personal growth, and expressed heartfelt gratitude to Rite Foods for powering the platform that helped shape their musical journey.

Speaking during the visit, Biola Aransiola, Brand Manager, Bigi Drinks, stated “Our partnership with Nigerian Idol is more than sponsorship, it is about creating platforms where dreams can thrive. Over the past five seasons, we have seen talent rise, voices evolve, and stars emerge. The AMVCA win is not just for the show, it is for every young dreamer who dared to step forward, and for brands like ours that choose to believe in them.”

In his remark, the Head of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability, Ekuma Eze, encouraged the young singers to be committed to their cause in becoming musical stars and in attaining success as they journey in life. He charged them to set audacious goals as dreams do come true, citing Rite Foods and an example of a bold dream turned to reality.

Eze stated that with a strong commitment to advancing their musical careers, they will become known like other top-notch artists in the entertainment industry.

The visit also featured a guided tour of the Rite Foods Head office facility, brand tasting experience, and an inspiring reflection session where the contestants spoke about their journeys, the moments that shaped them, and how Bigi Drinks added excitement and comfort to their stay throughout the season.

With the Season 10 Grand Finale just days away aptly themed “Rise to Victory the visit served as a timely celebration of talent, partnership, and purpose. As the competition narrows to the final two contestants, Purp and Raymu, the stage is set for one of them to be crowned the next Nigerian Idol.

Rite Foods continues to lead as a proudly Nigerian brand championing innovation, excellence, and national development through strategic investments in entertainment, youth empowerment, and creativity.
