The Afro-beats star, Wizkid, performs his R&B/Hip-Hop smashing hit song with popular Canadian singer, Justin Bieber during the Made in America Annual Music Festival.
Justin Bieber, who collaborated with the Afro-beat singer performed the “Essence Remix” on stage together for the first time at the Made in America festival in Philadelphia USA on Sunday.
The Afro-beats veteran had earlier featured Nigerian fast-rising singer, Tems on the original version of Wizkid’s Made In Lagos album in October.
Since its release, the song has been breaking records, topping music charts, and becoming a favorite among music lovers.
In July, Wizkid became the first Nigerian artist to have a record on the Billboard Hot 100 chart when Essence broke into the chart at Number 82.
Within days, it rose to Number 70 and later to Number 67 the next. In August, the song shot up to the top 20 songs of the Billboard Hot 100 chart and also became the most Shazamed song in the United States for the week in review.
