GUS: After 7yrs Pause, Gulder Ultimate Search Returns to Screen

Nigerian Breweries Plc, organizer of the popular reality television show, Gulder Ultimate Search recently confirmed that the show is back and set to return to screen with a new teaser.

GUS is back!

Running from 2004 to 2016, the reality show which dominated airwaves had contestants showcase their survival skills in jungles across Nigeria. Recall the show was hosted by top Nollywood actors Bob-Manuel Udokwu and Chidi Mokeme for different seasons. Guilder Ultimate Search later went on a seven year pause after 11 seasons.

Sade Morgan, the Corporate Affairs Director, Nigerian Breweries Plc, said “We are really excited to be bringing back the Gulder Ultimate Search for the viewing pleasure of Nigerians who have over the years continued to call for the return of the show.

“The planning team has put in place everything necessary to give the fans exactly what they enjoy about the show, and I am confident that everyone will be pleasantly surprised and delighted with what we have in store.”

At the unveiling event, the theme of this season is pegged as “’The Age of Craftsmanship’.

Application for the new season kick off from September 1, 2021 and closes September 8, with applicants expected to submit their application to the show’s official website.

The first screening session starts September 13 in Abuja and Enugu, while the second screening session kicks off on September 16 in Lagos.

The TV premiere of ‘Gulder Ultimate Search: The Age of Craftsmanship’ is set for October 16, and will run till December 19, when the grand finale will hold.
