Bandits attack travellers, kidnap five in Ondo
An 18 passengers bus with was attacked by bandits along Ido Ani-Ifira Expressway, Ondo State on Wednesday evening.
Information gathered revealed that the bus was heading towards Abuja from Lagos State when it was attacked by bandits. The Divisional Police Officer in charge of Isua Akoko Police Division, Mr Hakeem Sadiq, confirmed the incident.
According to Sadiq, the case was reported on Wednesday evening, adding that the anti-kidnapping unit of the division and other sister agencies are working hard to rescue the travellers.
The bandits were said to have dragged the victims into the bush to an unknown destination.
