Atedo Peterside Admonishes Eligible Nigerian Youths to Register with INEC for their PVC As CVR Exercise Enters Last Stage.

Mr. Atedo Peterside, the Founder of Stanbic IBTC Bank + President & Founder, Anap Foundation has urged Nigerians to avail themselves of the opportunity of registering with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and collecting their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVC) as the last quarter for the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise commences on 11 April, 2022.

The plea by Atedo Peterside is coming at a time the public enlightenment campaign themed GoNigeria, an advocacy to sensitize Nigerian youths to participate in the electoral process is gaining considerable momentum.

In line with the objectives of the GoNigeria Initiative, Atedo Peterside is calling on eligible youths to take advantage of the last chance to register and collect their PVCs, as the CVR exercise will resume on 11 April at INEC’s State and Local Government Area offices, as well as its Registration Area/Ward Collation Centres across the country, and to culminate on 30 June, 2022.

Renowned for spearheading various causes of humanity and leadership over the years, the erudite investment banker, economist cum astute entrepreneur strongly believes that you cannot separate the economy and politics, hence his vigorous campaign that mass involvement of the citizenry in the political system, including the youths that constitute over 60 percent of the electorates and their direct involvement in the 2023 general elections is pivotal to reshaping the country’s political destiny as well as economic turn-around.

GoNigeria is an initiative of Anap Foundation, a non-profit organization which is committed to promoting good governance via its GoNigeria Initiative. Anap Foundation has been partnering with Advocates, as well as enlightened celebrities (GoAmbassadors), corporate bodies eager to support the Initiative via co-branding (GoPartners) as well as many enthusiastic young volunteers who will help to amplify the messaging to their age mates (GoVolunteers). The overall aim is to encourage Nigerian youths to register and vote en-masse in the 2023 General Elections.

The 18 Initial Advocates of the GoNigeria Movement are drawn from all the 6 geopolitical zones (3 from each zone).
