Supreme Court Confirms Yahaya Bello as Kogi State Governor

Governor Yahaya Bello has been confirmed as the Governor of Kogi State by the Supreme Court.

The apex court dismissed the appeal of Musa Wada of the Peoples Democratic Party who had challenged the November 16 2019 elections.

A seven-man panel which was headed by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Tanko Mohammed, unanimously confirmed Bello as the duly elected governor after resolving all issues raised in the appeal against the appellants.
