The National Assembly has lauded the reform initiatives of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), which is geared towards enhancing the efforts of the federal government in improving the ease of doing business in the country.
This commendation came to limelight during the commission of the CAC office in Port-harcourt, Rivers State.
The Chairman, Senate Committee on Trade and Investment, Senator Francis Fadaunsi and other senators at the commission expressively commended the digital transformation added to foster the growth of the economy.
Senator Fadahunsi applauded the commission’s Registrar-General, Garba Abubakar, whom he said deserved a pat on the back for the great work he is doing implementing reforms to ease the registration processes.
The vice chairman of the committee, Senator Elisha Ishaku also lauded the reform initiatives implemented by the commission and urged the registrar-general to put up with the effort.
“The Registrar General, Garba Abubakar is a very courageous young man who fits the job,” he said
Recall that the commission has amended the Companies and Allied Matters (CAMA) Act, last year and since then embark on several initiatives largely on digitisation of its operation for speed and quality delivery.
